I have Made a Thing! Behold, my attempt at vidding:

a very silly Fraser/Kowalski vidlet to about 20 seconds of Countdown by Beyoncé

(it's hosted on peertube, and DW doesn't want to let me embed it here. There's nothing for it, you'll just have to click a link.)

I'm pretty proud of myself for figuring out as much as I did! In addition to the super basic key commands, I learned how to use a transition, adjust speed and brightness, and slip-edit a clip. *pats self on back*

What do I have to do to find your vidlet and make the vidlet play? When I click on the link in your comment it goes to an all-white page with the word "Fanvid" in the upper left and some commands in a column at the left, but none of that took me to your vid.

Oh dear! I'm not sure how to fix that problem. It seems to be working fine on my computer...

I'd also be happy to just attach it to an email, though, if you send me your address :)

I got your vidlet saved to my smartphone now. This is thanks to verushka70 who put it on her phone and then Bluetoothed it to mine.

It's a delightful vidlet! The music and the clips bounce along together so jauntily, and your choice of which clips with which lyrics made me smile. Also, TYK for the improved illumination in the buddy breathing scene -- sometimes that scene looks so dark it's hard to discern what's happening there.

I <3 Jacky's fanart so very much. When the dS F/K novel that verushka70 and I wrote was slated to be zined by Requiem Publications I asked Jacky if she would be the illustrator for it (and she said yes).
